Liat completed her M.Sc. at the Mindful Learning Technologies Lab. Liat holds a BSc degree in Computer Science and in Computer Science Education (Mabatim) from the Technion. After working at Elbit Systems for 9 years, she is currently working as CS teacher and educator at the Hebrew Reali High School and as education and studies director at the “Pnimia Zvait Le Pikud” – military board of command in Haifa. Her research focuses on fostering computational thinking and teamwork skills among elementary school pupils through online pair-programming in Scratch.
The field of education and development of the future generation is burning in her. Liat loves hiking, sports, and the sea. An avid lover of the sea. Beyond her development-related dreams, her dream is to live with her husband and children by the sea.
