Samuel Chaushu

Samuel holds a BSc in Machine Engineering from Ben Gurion University. He is a technologist & education advocate, teacher of teachers and students (5-12 graders). Samuel has served in the IDF for 23 yrs and Led teams in several technology units. He also performed as a program manager in Elbit Aviation for 8 yrs. For the last 6 yrs, he is teaching Entrepreneurship Education for 5-12 graders using Makers & Mentoring methods.  He currently researches Hackathons as a Pedagogic Method.
His other current projects include:
– Israeli Perseverance Rover- 10 graders from Physics, Electronics and Software Science, developing and manufacturing a model of NASA’s Perseverance Rover that will Land on MARS (Feb 21).
– Smart Hydroponic Greenhouse- 12 graders from Biology, Electronics and Software Science, developing a basic system for future researches.
His Hobbies include space, Mars, entrepreneurship, science and technology, ML/AI, and data science.
